As always 's gallery is an endless source of inspiration: her fox mom & cub shot (here the original piece [link]) gave me the push for this childhood inspired painting.
Done with collage (Disney's comic pages) and acrylics on a plywood board; I actually repeated the collage also on the painting's back, to refine it a bit. Here you have the backside picture: [link]

Thank you! You're right, the texture feels amazing, especially to touch; the only downside is that between drying time and board preparation it's terribly slow to make (see also [link]). But the result is so satisfying that once I tried I couldn't stop: the overall effect is really worth the preparation time
